- Content: Voice recordings (up to 45 seconds for pins, 15 seconds for comments), text messages

- Location Data: Precise GPS coordinates when you create voice pins (only when app is in use)
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address
- Usage Data: App interactions, features used, time spent in app, pins created, comments made
- Network Information: Internet service provider, browser type, language preference
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide core app functionality (creating and sharing voice pins)
- Display your voice pins on the map at specified locations
- Enable social features (following, messaging, commenting)
- Send notifications about app activity
- Improve and personalize your experience
- Communicate with you about updates and features
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Ensure safety and prevent fraud

3. Location Information
Important: Location data is essential for Sadio's core functionality.
- We collect precise location data ONLY when you actively create a voice pin
- We do NOT collect location data in the background
- Location is attached to your voice pins and visible to other users
- You can control location permissions in your device settings
- Location history is stored for 30 days for safety and moderation purposes
4. Voice Recordings
Your voice recordings are handled with special care:
- Voice pins (max 45 seconds) are stored for 24 hours by default
- You can choose to keep pins in your profile permanently
- Comments (max 15 seconds) follow the same retention as the parent pin
- Private pins are only accessible to users you specifically select
- You can delete your recordings at any time
- We do NOT use voice data for advertising or sell it to third parties
- Voice data is encrypted during transmission and storage
5. Information Sharing
With Other Users:
- Public pins are visible to all app users
- Your username and profile photo appear with your content
- Location information is displayed with pins
- Your bio and statistics are visible on your profile
With Third Parties:
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Companies that help us operate our service (hosting, analytics, support)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to respond to legal process
- Protection: To protect rights, property, or safety of Sadio, our users, or others
- Business Transfers: In connection with merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Consent: With your explicit consent for specific purposes
We NEVER sell your personal information to third parties.

- Voice Pins: 24 hours (unless saved to profile)
- Messages: Until deleted by user
- Location History: 30 days
- Usage Analytics: 90 days
- Legal Compliance Data: As required by law
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is required for legal purposes.

You have the right to:

Age Requirement: Sadio is not intended for children under 14 years of age.

- Parents can contact us to request removal of their child's information
